This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a founding role at the first 'all through' school in Essex.
The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort will be welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. We are pleased that we are oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school. The school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6thform provision.
We are looking to appoint a Vice Principal (Standards) to join the Principal, ahead of the secondary school opening, to work with him to ensure the school is completely ready for our students in September.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who has a successful record of leading school improvement, enhancing the learning and experiences of their students. They will be reflective, excited by taking risks, and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. They will promote lifelong learning through their constant drive to improve their own practice, as well as supporting those they lead to develop their skills.
This role will suit an ambitious Assistant Principal/Assistant Headteacher with aspirations to take on their own Headship. Specific responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description.

Information about the School
The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school and the primary phase opens for reception students in September 2018 with the secondary phase opening in September 2019. The Beaulieu Park School will welcome its first cohort of 60 reception aged children in two classes. In September 2019, 180 Year 7 students will be admitted. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2024 and 900 places for local children between 11 and 16 years old by 2023.
