Part-time Receptionist/Welfare Assistant

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.00am - 3.30pm 5 days a week, 1 hour lunch)

Salary Range: Level 4 Pt 13-18

Start Date: Required February 2019

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist/Welfare Assistant to work as part of our efficient and well organised school office team.

The school environment is busy and diverse so the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure is essential. You will need to be flexible, have a high degree of self-motivation and be fully committed to being part of a team aspiring to outstanding.

You will be a confident, friendly and approachable person who, as the first point of contact for all visitors, provides a helpful and welcoming impression of the school. You will possess excellent communication skills allowing you to play a key role in facilitating the smooth running of our school office. Alongside your main reception duties, you will act as the school's Primary First Aider and be responsible for the administration of various initiatives that impact upon the children's welfare.

The successful candidate should be educated to at least GCSE standard in English and Maths, have sound organisational skills and be computer literate. Knowledge of SIMS, first aid and previous experience of working within an educational setting would be an advantage.
