This is a unique exciting position at this school. We are looking for someone to be a class LSA for 2 days a week and be a lead LSA in Art/ DT for 3 days a week. However, if you would like to apply for either the class LSA or Art/DT post separately, please do so. All we require you to do is write one of the following on your application form:

· 2 day class LSA role (Monday/Friday)

· 3 day Lead Supervisor for Art/DT, or (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

· Full time class LSA and Art/DT supervisor. (5 days a week)

Position: Art/DT PPA LSA

Start Date: 25th February 2019 or as soon as possible - Contracted hours all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Salary: Band 3 to midpoint

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual with a passion for Art and DT. They must be confident to deliver these subjects during PPA cover. Candidates should be highly motivated and organised, able to interpret planning but bring their own ideas and creativity to the role. We would like the children to have a deep understanding of various artists, build yearly on new skills and be encouraged to find their inner artist or designer.

We can offer:

· a fully equipped designated art studio

· pupils who are engaged with their learning (Outstanding - Ofsted January 2018).

· The role will be fully supported by teachers and SLT.

This is a unique role. Relevant experience of art based teaching will be advantageous but not essential.
