Castledon School are looking for someone who has a passion and / or experience of working with pupils with either ASD or social / emotional needs. We are looking for someone to be a form tutor and teach a range of subjects to pupils from year 6 to year 9 predominantly, these pupils work at a level from infant to early juniors.

Successful candidates will have:

· A few tricks up their sleeves - you never know when you might have to come up with a new lesson because that plan you spent hours working on is just not going down well…

· Spandex - being resilient and flexible is key when you have researched every classroom strategy and your class is still not engaged…

· An array of footwear - running club, Gruffalo woods, the orchard, farm animals - one needs to be equipped for all our areas of learning!

· Lightbulb moments - we are always looking for new ideas to improve our curriculum, clubs, social activities and fundraising initiatives.

Information about the School

Castledon School is a Special School for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs from Year 1 - Year 14.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
