We are looking for lecturers who can teach subjects in mechanical engineering at level 1, 2 & 3 on vocational national diploma's. We also have a need for the ability to teach at level 4 (HNC). The ability to deliver topics related to Electronics, CAD and CNC would be of great value, as would experience in delivering maths based topics. Alternatively the ability to deliver workshop practical's involving CNC, milling and lathe work is of equal value. There will also be opportunities for potential candidates to deliver apprenticeship units at level 2 & 3 and assess in the workplace if they hold the appropriate qualifications although there may be CPD opportunities to acquire these at the college.
As a lecturer you will be expected to fully plan your Teaching, learning and assessment and to do the appropriate marking that goes with the various courses. You will be expected to be committed to CPD to enable continual improvement in your own practice.
