Science Laboratory Technician

Chigwell School are seeking to appoint a new laboratory technician to join a team of dedicated and motivated support staff in the Science department. The successful applicant will mainly be responsible for delivering the practical requirements of Science lessons and assist in the preparation of Key Stage 2 up to GCSE and A-level experiments under the guidance of the Senior Laboratory Technician.

Scientific and technical knowledge and knowledge of related Health & Safety precautions in a laboratory environment are essential requirements. Candidates must enjoy working as part of a team, be able to work under pressure and use their own initiative, be attentive to detail and have good communication and ICT skills.
