Permanent contract
7.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 12.00pm to 1.30pm - term time only

Salary - Scale 2 (CCT Essex Academies Pay Scale) - Salary Range - Point 2-3 (£18,198 - £18,562 Full Time Equivalent), plus Outer Fringe Allowance (£626) Salary to be pro-rata.
The starting salary will be dependent on experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Midday Assistant to join our team. MDA's create a very positive, happy and secure environment in our playgrounds, dining hall and the school building at lunchtime. Your primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime break.
The successful applicant will:
- Interact with the children to encourage good social skills and will lead outdoor activities to encourage participation.
- Encourage healthy eating, preparing the tables, supervise playing with the children outside, supervising the clearing up of games and toys, administering first aid.
- Ensure the safety and care of pupils who are injured or unwell & provide comfort if distressed
- Assist children with Personal Care where necessary

St Peter's Catholic Primary was a National Support School and is now part of the Billericay Teaching Alliance. It is a two-form entry school which holds various awards including Healthy Schools Award and the International ECO-Schools Award, amongst others. 'Outstanding' Ofsted February 2024.
