After School Club Co-Ordinator

Mondayto Friday 15:15-17:30 (11.25 hours per week, term time only).

St. Nicholas CofE (VC) Primary School is seeking to appoint a After School Club Co-Ordinator. We are a small school with big ambitions! The successful candidate will be expected to share our ethos and our commitment to every child's wellbeing and education. Initially this is being offered as a fixed term contract, but may lead to a permanent position. We are happy to consider Job Shares.

St. Nicholas is federated with Canewdon Endowed CofE (VC) Primary School and this offers exciting opportunities for the successful candidate who will be expected to work within the partnership that is already set up and who must be willing to attend the other site on some occasions.

The successful candidate will be able to work across the primary phase in whole class, group and one to one working situations.

In return, we are looking for aAfter School Club Co-Ordinator that is:

  • Experienced, creative, motivated and who has high expectations. The successful candidate will be able to inspire pupils
  • Qualified to Level 2 or above for Food Safety and who has also achieved GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above
  • Committed to personal and school improvement
  • Willing to work as part of a team but who is also able to work independently.

We are part of a Federation with Canewdon Endowed CofE (VC) Primary School. We value the individuality of each school, whilst we also believe that it is vital that we share expertise and resources effectively in order to survive and thrive as small schools. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across the federation and travel between schools when necessary, such as during shared training sessions.

We are pleased to confirm that we have now joined the Berlesduna Multi-Academy Trust; as our academy conversion finally went ahead on 1st December 2023.
