Leadership pay scale point 1 to 10. £41,065 to £51,311 per annum

Following the retirement of our current Lead Practitioner, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding professional who believes that education has the power to transform the lives of young people and has the ability to inspire them to believe it for themselves.
We are at an exciting time in our development, results have risen rapidly in recent years and the successful candidate will have the skills and enthusiasm to make a significant contribution to our continued improvement.
This role involves working with the Subject Leader to develop outstanding teaching and learning throughout the English department.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea
, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships
