Midday Assistant
1 hour 10 minutes daily
Term time only
£8.81 per hour (including outer fringe)
£2214.19 per annum (FTE £16,394 + £597 outer fringe)
We are seeking a Midday Assistant for our small, friendly school. 1 hour 10 minutes daily, but additional hours may be offered on a flexible basis to help the smooth running of the school and our wrap-around care.
We are looking for a friendly, adaptable Midday Assistant to:
- Supervise children in the lunch hall
- Encourage imaginative play, both outside and indoors
- Ensure the good behaviour of pupils
- Administer first aid

The Wickford Church of England School is a small, friendly school, close to good transport links. Our school is a place where children can thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. The school provides education for children from the ages of 2-7 in the local area. As a team, we aim to create a respectful, caring and secure place for children to explore, learn and be happy together.
