Job Description

SEN Learning Support Assistant

20 hours per week - 45.6 week per year contract

Band 2 Point 11-14 fixed term contract until end of summer term2019

Maple Grove Primary School is looking to recruit an experienced, dedicated, and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a Reception child with medical needs to join our friendly and hardworking team.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

support children by following programmes devised by the school
liaise with the class teacher and SENCO keeping detailed records of the child's achievements
use their own initiative to support the child in making the best possible progress
be highly positive and supportive
remain calm and flexible, be caring, have patience, and have a sense of humour
have a good standard of English and Mathematics (minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent)
