The pupils, parents, staff and governors are looking to recruit an inspirational and exceptional leader to continue to lead the school from a "Good" to an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.
The school has a strong Christian ethos, is set in a village location on the outskirts of Epping and enjoys the benefits of the open spaces of Epping Forest.
We are looking for an inspirational, talented, energetic and aspiring new Headteacher to direct the school from September 2018 (ideally earlier if possible). This is an opportunity to build on the foundations set down by the existing team, to develop the school further utilising creative and innovative methods of working.
We are looking for someone who:
- is currently a proven primary Headteacher or outstanding Deputy Headteacher
- has clear vision of how to obtain future excellence for our school
- is a good communicator
- has a burning desire to to reach the highest standards possible
- will ensure all children are safe

Situated in the beautiful village of Coopersale, near the Essex town of Epping, we overlook the picturesque Epping Forest. We are currently a one-form entry school ranging from Reception to Year 6. Currently we have 190 pupils on roll, including an additional Year 2 class (bulge year).
As a local authority maintained Church of England primary school, we believe in serving our community. We nurture and inspire the development of the whole child. The deeper learning, we provide, represents the current world we live in and provides the cultural capital that children need to function as ambitious, informed and thoughtful members of our local, British and global community.
