We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, able and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant for 5 mornings a week (20 hours total, 9am-1pm) for the spring term initially, with the possibility that this could be extended. The role will involve specific support of a child with special needs, individually and as part of small groups, in addition to providing other general support as directed by the class teacher. Previous experience is desirable but not essential for the right person.
Suitable applicants will need to be able to work as part of our reception class team. The successful applicant will be organised and show initiative and flexibility under the guidance of the class teachers and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), be patient and understand the professional nature of the role. The successful candidate must have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
If you would like to join our team and help make a difference we'd love to hear from you.
Visits to the school welcomed.
