Harlow Inspirational Learning Trust
The Henry Moore Primary School opened in September 2001. The school became an Academy MAT in November 2015 and a Sponsor in March 2016. It is the founding member of Harlow Inspirational Learning Trust. Milwards Primary School and Nursery in Harlow joined the MAT in July 2017.
Henry Moore School has 570 children on role and 94 members of staff
The Henry Moore School has been well-maintained over the years and re-modelled many times. There are nineteen classes; five are located in demountables. As well as the classrooms there are six offices, a computer suite, library, food technology room and two halls, one of which accommodates a breakfast and after school club.
The field is astro turf and is used year round for playtimes and sport. There is high fencing around the school and the site and school are accessed via electronic doors and gates. The governing body has made a commitment to modify the school where and when necessary to meet the specific needs of pupils.
