Science Technician

£16,302 - £16,781 pro rata, £14,131 - £14,546 actual salary

37 hours per week, term time plus non-student days plus 1 week

Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded 'Outstanding' and 'Good' by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. There is a joint Sixth Form Centre adjacent to New RIckstones Academy.

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to appoint a Science Technician to provide practical and administrative support to teaching staff to support science lessons.

The Science Technician team consists of four full time staff supporting the Science Teaching Team across Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy - one Senior Science Technician, one Assistant Senior Science Technician and two Science Technicians. You will initially be based at Maltings Academy but you will also be required to work at New Rickstones Academy as required.
