We would like to appoint a confident and creative person to assist in our new breakfast and after school club. The ideal person would have some experience of working within a school environment.

The hours are Mon- Fri (term time only)

7:00am - 9am

3:00pm - 6.00pm

The role includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club. Having fun in a safe environment!

Level 2 or 3 Qualifications in play work or childcare or working towards or willing to work towards this qualification would be an advantage, but not necessary. Paediatric first aid qualification desirableand be willing to undertake further training essential.

Barnes Farm Infant School is a school for 4 -7 year old children in Chelmsford, Essex. We have a wonderful team of staff, active and informed governors and supportive families who all help the children to be safe and happy and to make exceptional progress. It is our aim to make sure that all members of our school community are supported and feel included and valued.

The children are divided into classes according to age. Children will progress through the National Curriculum on an individual basis with appropriate individual educational plans being provided for children with special educational needs and for gifted and talented pupils.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
