Learn, Grow, Prosper

Colchester Academy continues to strive towards excellence. We have a strong belief that firm discipline combined with supportive guidance prepares our young people for the world after Academy life. We have a strong moral purpose and fundamentally believe that young people need learn from any mistakes they make but also understand the importance of following instruction in a respectful manner. This approach secured rapid improvements in student attitude, as such, the behaviour at Colchester Academy was graded as 'good' during the last OFSTED inspection.

The creation of an isolation room at Colchester Academy is the next step in our behaviour improvement plan as we endeavour to raise standards even further. This is a new role at Colchester Academy and the successful applicant will be morally aligned to our beliefs.

The successful applicant will have the ability to analyse data, organise the behaviour tracking system, create a calm and ordered environment in the isolation room, communicate with parents and be extremely efficient with time.

There is no expectation for the successful candidate to be from an educational setting, you will however, have a strong work ethic and the desire to accelerate your own development through this role. Ownership of this new role will be crucial in determining the success of this new system.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within Bright Tribe Trust, a multi-academy trust that brings together expertise from the education field, and the professionalism and influences of commercial partners.

Through proven practices, Bright Tribe transforms the learning of children, raises standards and provides the highest quality learning environments, enabling learners and teaching staff to thrive and be the best. Our aim is to break down the barriers that limit educational progress. We do this through adopting a personal pathway for every child, taking account of individual needs, aspirations, and talents.
