Band 3, 28 hours/45 minutes per week, 44.3weeks (including 5.3 weeks holidays), 1 year fixed term

Parkwood Academy is part of the South East Academy Trust and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Home Liaison Co-ordinator. This role is initially for a one year fixed term.

The successful candidate will join our established Inclusion team and must have a motivational and positive attitude with the ability to build a supportive and professional rapport with colleagues, pupils, parents and external agencies. Working as part of a team this role will be integral to identifying barriers to learning and will be instrumental in providing appropriate support to minimise issues affecting pupil progress. We are looking for:

  • A sound knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding;
  • Experience of working with children and families with challenging and complex needs;
  • Ability to sustain high standards of professionalism;
  • IT literate, with the ability to input and interpret pupil data;
  • A confident and effective communicator at all levels.
