Salary : Band 4 (Point 12-20)
28.75 hours week, term time only
Full time starting salary £17,102 (pro rata)
We are looking to appoint an ambitious, inclusive and determined practitioner who:
• Has a recognised competence in literacy and numeracy.
• Understands teaching and learning and committed to raising standards.
• Has a positive attitude and who is loyal to our values and others.
Main duties will be
• Directly teaching groups and, occasionally, whole classes as 'cover'.
• Securing good progress for children taught.
• Maintaining good discipline.
• Being part of the 'Thameside Team' and supporting all aspects of our endeavours to be 'Outstanding'.
The successful candidate will have:
• Maths and English qualifications equivalent to GSCE grade C or above
• Be committed to developing the whole child
• Be committed to working as part of a team
