SEN Keyworker - Task Related Contract

Band 2 Point 11-14 (starting point depending on experience)

Actual Salary - £9,343 (£7.88 p/h)

Hours27.5 per week (negotiable), term time only.

We are looking to appoint a committed, experienced learning support worker who is able to contribute towards meeting the needs of pupils in our school with special needs.

We are looking for someone with a passion for working with children and with the patience and expertise to adapt to the needs of pupils with a range of additional needs including hearing impairment.

This is a great opportunity to join a happy and hard-working team who truly put children at the heart of everything we do. We learn in a bright, modern building with excellent facilities.

Desirable skills and experience:

· Level 2 (minimum) British Sign Language

· Supporting communication

· Supporting independence and social skills

· Basic level physio support

Queen Boudica Primary School is a thriving and successful two-form entry primary school situated on the north side of Colchester.
