NETWORK FINANCE MANAGER
Local Government Band 5 - starting point dependent upon experience & qualifications
Full Time Equivalent Salary £30,178 - £37,483 (pro-rata)
15 - 20 hours per week over 2 - 3 days
(exact working pattern may be flexible)
41 weeks (term time + 2) - to include at least 1 week in Easter holidays
Start Date: - October 2015 (or earlier if possible)
The Chelmsford Education Network is a consortium of primary schools situated in and around Chelmsford, Essex. As part of our ongoing development plans we are looking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced person to work closely with our existing finance manager to provide a high quality finance and business support service to all of our member schools.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organised and will have the attributes, knowledge and confidence to be able to support and work with headteachers, school finance staff and school governors.
Knowledge and experience of school budgets and financial management systems is essential. Knowledge or experience of academy finances &/or an accounting qualification would also be desirable.
Daily use of own vehicle is essential for this role - mileage will be paid.
