TA/Instructor Hair Salon
Required 5 days per week during the school day
1 day Instructor - Unqualified Teacher Scale Points 1 to 6: Actual Salary £3,227.20 - £5,104.00 pa
4 days - Teaching Assistant - 27.5 hours per week, term time LGS Band 2 point 11 to 16: Actual salary £7,682 - £8,573 pa
We are currently recruiting a TA/Instructor for a forward thinking secondary school. You will have previous experience working in a salon. Qualification Level 2 hairdressing as a minimum.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the day to day running of the hair salon allowing young people to achieveVRQ andNVQ Level 2 qualifications in Hairdressing. Your role will include:
· Deliver theory and practical
· Assessing theory and practical
· Tracking learning and assessment
· Maintaining accurate records
· Health and safety in the classroom
