We seek to appoint a dynamic, innovative and committed teacher to lead and manage our strong Inclusion Team.

You may be an experienced SENCo who has achieved national SEN accreditation or an aspiring senior leader seeking a unique and challenging opportunity to help make a significant contribution to raising standards of achievement across our school.

The position carries membership of the Senior Leadership team.

The overall purpose of the role will be:

To support and continue to develop a whole-school inclusive learning culture and environment that enables all children to achieve their potential and overcome barriers to learning and participation.

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about SEND, ensuring equality of provision and making a difference to children's lives

Have recent proven ability of delivering quality first teaching to all children, including those with additional or special needs.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skill, able to work in partnership with Classteachers, parents and external agencies.

Be experienced in monitoring teaching and learning and able to use performance data and target-setting effectively to raise standards.

Have an ability to implement change effectively

Have a commitment to school improvement and the confidence to take risks, challenge complacency and think creatively.

St John Fisher School has two forms of entry and caters for children 4-11. Our spacious modern building is set within extensive grounds and has a wildlife area, sensory garden and adventure playground. The school is forward-thinking and has a caring and inclusive ethos. We have a dedicated, friendly team of staff and work in partnership with an active governing body and supportive parents / carers.
