We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher with high standards and drive to support the new Headteacher and our thriving school.
Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School is a warm, caring and diverse school which provides a secure, happy and stimulating educational environment where all pupils aim to achieve their full potential. Located on the London/Essex border, our over-subscribed school enjoys the benefits of the capital whilst being located in a leafy community.
Our new Deputy Head needs to be someone who:
- will be a dedicated advocate for the school and its children
- will be flexible to the ever changing ebb and flow of school life
- is an excellent classroom practitioner
- has highexpectations of children's achievement and behaviour
- has excellent communication skills with children, parents, colleagues and professionals of all kinds
- can strengthen creativity and excitement in learning
- can demonstrate the ability to analyse and present achievement data

We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest.
EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years, and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities. The schools maintain their identities but work in a highly collaborative manner supported by a small but very experienced Central Team.
