SENDCo/Inclusion Leader (non- class based 0.6)

1 year fixed- term to cover the maternity leave of the current post holder.

MPS/UPS based on experience & TLR 2a (£2587, salary pro-rata) Required April 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter

Due to the impending maternity leave of the current post holder, we are seeking to appoint an experienced, well qualified expert SEND practitioner who is child friendly, well-organised enthusiastic well motivated AND a team player.

The successful candidate must have:-

  • Qualified teacher status/SENCo qualification or be registered and working towards this
  • Proven outstanding Primary classroom practice and up to date knowledge of the new SEN Framework & Code of Practice, EYFS/ NC and current successful intervention/T&L strategies
  • Ability to work as part of an effective and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will help us to maintain and develop our provision and practice, implementing our vision that all children are able to achieve, using the new SEND Framework and Code of Practice to support children with SEND and other identified groups to make outstanding progress.

Further professional development opportunities may be available to an exceptional candidate in -house or across the Trust for which appropriate remuneration would be paid.

A full time position may be available for an exceptional and outstanding classroom practitioner with proven experience of coaching and mentoring teaching staff to improve teaching & learning & pupil outcomes.
