St Teresa's is a vibrant, happy and oversubscribed academy primary school whose distinctive Catholic ethos is fundamental to its identity. The school, which has close physical and spiritual links with our parish church, is located in the parish of Lexden, Colchester, Essex.

Our school benefits from strong and aspirational leadership; the whole school community has worked together to ensure provision of the very best learning and spiritual opportunities for our pupils. Rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted and the Diocese of Brentwood in February 2014, the Governing Body, Staff and Pupils are looking forward to welcoming a dynamic and inspirational Headteacher who will help to shape the continuing development of our school when the current Headteacher retires at the end of this academic year.

Our ideal candidate may be new to the role or highly experienced. We have retained a broad salary scale which will allow us to apply the correct level of remuneration to the correct appointee.
