Thurrock Band 2 pro-rata 28.75 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus non-pupil days and holiday pay.
Are you enthusiastic, passionate, driven, have high standards and love working with children?
We are looking to appoint caring, friendly and energetic Teaching Assistants to join a highly professional team. The successful candidates will receive the support and training required to meet the pupil's needs.
To become part of this team it would be advantageous if you have experience of working with children and previous experience of working with SEN children would be preferred.
- You will be conscientious and enthusiastic at all times.
- You will be positive and motivational.
- You will have strong communication skills.
- You will need to be educated to the equivalent of NVQ Level 2 in literacy and numeracy in order to be able to support our children.
You will be expected to;
- Take some responsibility for the progress of SEN pupils.
- Help to organise the classroom to create a positive learning environment.
- To motivate pupils.To work with others to plan and coordinate work.
- To stay up to date with changes and developments.
- To take part in school events and activities.
- To be patient, empathetic, and have an ability to build rapport with children, creating a safe teaching environment.
- Work 30 minutes per day at lunchtimes.
