KS2 Classteacher Required

Are you the right person to work with our children at Winter Gardens Primary School?

Winter Gardens Primary School is a two form of entry school on Canvey Island, Essex. We have 421 children in the school and it is expected that these numbers will continue to grow. Following the recent Ofsted inspection (October 2014), the school was judged as requiring 'special measures'.

We require a keen and enthusiastic teacher who is able to motivate and inspire our pupils to excel in their learning. You will need to be creative and prepared to think 'outside of the box', giving our pupils an exciting educational experience. You will be a good /outstanding teacher and will ideally be familiar with the recent changes to the curriculum.

This is a permanent post and salary will be within the main or upper pay scale and will be determined by skills and experience. A TLR 2a Allowance of £2587.00 may be available for the right person. The job role would be discussed at interview and based on the candidates experience.
