We are currently looking for an experienced KS4 Engineering and Resistant materials Teacher to join our Design Faculty in January 2014.
If you can deliver outstanding teaching and learning and will achieve excellent results for all our students then you are just the person to join us.
The Basildon Academies are two state of the art Academies based in Essex, just 35 minutes from London. The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our students aged 11-14 whilst the Upper Academy specialises in our 14-19 year old student populations. The Academies are approximately 1 mile apart. Both Academies were in Special Measures from March 2011 until Dec 2013/Jan 2014 and are now committed to becoming outstanding Academies.
This role is based on our Upper Academy so will be a KS4 / KS5 timetable.
The successful candidate will be an experienced classroom practitioner who is able to consistently demonstrate 'good to outstanding' lessons, is able to drive pupil progress and is committed to raising attainment.
The successful candidate will:

Have excellent subject knowledge in Engineering and Resistant Materials

Have a passion for Teaching in this subject
