Following the promotion of the previous postholder, we are looking for an inspirational leader with proven management and assessment experience who demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to work closely with staff, pupils, governors and parents.
We require a Deputy Head who:-
- is an outstanding teacher in any of the Primary phases (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
- has high expectations of what can be achieved;
- has a proven track record of raising pupil attainment;
- understands how children learn best and never gives up on them;
- is an effective coach and mentors, and mentors others with impact;
- has a vision of what outstanding provision looks like;
- has total commitment to support and drive school improvement;
- has a strong commitment to professional development;
- wants an opportunity to help shape the future of teaching & learning.

Information about the School
We are a primary school in a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and 10 mins from Clacton-on Sea. We are an academy with the Vines School Trust and so have the the support of this trust and the Diocese.
