We are looking to appoint an experienced learning support assistant, commencing as soon as possible, to work on a one to one basis with a Reception child with specific special educational needs (medical; epilepsy training will be provided.). The post is on a job share basis for 17.5 hours per week, 11.45pm - 3.15pm, term time only.

The successful applicant will be required to:

assist in differentiated teaching and learning
implement an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for the pupil
supervise the pupil during lunchtime
work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO
show initiative and flexibility
have the ability to build effective relationships with staff and children
have a good standard of literacy and numeracy
provide support during swimming sessions (seasonal) if possible
