As our previous Headteacher left us at the end of last term, having been promoted to a larger school in another County, the children, parents, staff and governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational, energetic and enthusiastic Headteacher who has the ability to continue the growth and development of our school and lead it to high levels of performance and attainment.
Whilst our OFSTED report earlier in the year described the school as requiring improvement it has made significant progress during the tenure of our last Headteacher and the successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate that they have:
- Proven experience as an outstanding primary practitioner
- A thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of school data
- Excellent management, organizational and communication skills
- The ability to think strategically and shape the ongoing development of our school
- The ability to lead, inspire and support staff, pupils and parents: and to work within a team
- A passion for learning and education
- A belief in inclusion, diversity, access and the right of each pupil to maximize their potential whatever their needs and abilities
- A sound commitment to keep Larkrise at the heart of the community.
