School Business Manager and PA to the Headteacher 37 hours per week

Pay Range £22, 443 - £25, 727

or

Finance Officer 37 hours per week

Pay Range £16, 998 - £19, 317

Dependent upon experience

We are looking to recruit an experienced School Business Manager or a Finance Manager to be part of our successful, hardworking, dedicated, supportive and friendly office team; someone who is able to become part of the new leadership team to support the school moving forward.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work sensitively, collaboratively, enthusiastically, calmly and effectively under pressure.

Ideal candidates will have:

· Experience of managing a busy school office

· High level experience of school finance including RM finance package and External Bank account procedures

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Be an excellent team leader committed to supporting the development of other office staff

· A commitment to their own professional development

· A keen interest in researching and managing school improvement projects with the ability to identify priorities to meet deadlines

· A commitment to keeping the Governing Body informed of financial matters, Health and Safety and Human Resources

· Understanding of the diversity of the role

· A strong commitment to providing a high quality service

· knowledge and experience of Health & Safety

· A genuine belief in the potential of every pupil

Gosfield Community Primary School is a small village school located in the beautiful countryside just outside Halstead. We are a 'good' school (2023) and are constantly striving to be the best we can be. We part of Attain Academy Partnership, based within Newlands Spring Primary School. Within our MAT we are linked with Newlands Springs, Rayne Primary School, Elm Hall, deVere Primary, Bocking Primary and Cressing Primary School.
