We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our hard working and supportive team. St. Nicholas is a delightful village school with a friendly and open atmosphere and a very supportive set of parents and governors. Our children are well behaved and keen to learn. As a Church of England Primary School we are developing a very strong Christian ethos and have close links with our local church and vicar.
The person appointed will be:
·passionate about learning and an outstanding teacher
· understand and promote the spiritual, social and cultural development within a church school
· be able to lead in target setting and assessment
· challenges pupils and has high expectations of what they can achieve
· can build positive relationships with parents, staff and governors
· effectively lead, communicate with and motivate the whole school community to drive forward improvements

St. Nicholas school has 120 pupils in mixed year group classes. We are approximately a 40 minute drive from Chelmsford. There are many opportunities to take part in outdoor activities such as walking, sailing and canoeing. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.

Information about the School
St Nicholas C of E Primary School admits Infant and Junior Boys and Girls aged to 4 to 11.
The admissions limit is 21 pupil per year group.
In November 2019, we became part of the Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust.
St Nicholas Primary School is one of four schools in the Dengie Hundred forming part of The Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust. The Vine Schools Trust is a growing academy Trust currently serving twenty-three schools across the diocese.
It is our aim to help our schools deliver, within a Christian context, the best educational, spiritual, physical, social and emotional outcomes for children and their families.
