FIRST AID OFFICER
LGS Scale 3
25 hours a week
Actual Salary £11,166 (inclusive of fringe)
We are seeking a motivated, non-teaching member of staff to provide first aid for all students in this large mixed secondary school, who will be able to:
· Respond calmly and quickly to emergency situations
· Deal with non-emergency medical issues
· Liaise with parents and outside agencies
· Manage the programme of vaccinations for students
Applicants must hold the First Aid at Work qualification (refresher training will be provided as required). Experience of working in a school environment or in a supervisory role with young people will be an advantage. Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
