Great Sampford Primary School is a vibrant and happy school in this beautiful rural Essex village. We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Manager to prepare fresh home cooked food for our pupils. You will be preparing approximately 80 meals daily.
Your role will involve:
- Planning, preparation and presentation of all food, in line with statutory regulations and school standards, ensuring that methods of preparation and presentation comply with current recognised catering standards and food safety legislation, including food intolerances and allergen awareness.
- Responsibility for ordering food supplies, stock control and stock rotation.
- Ensuring prompt service of all meals.
This role is supported by the Essex School Meals Service Advisor and ongoing training and development will be available for the successful candidate.
