Term time and INSET days plus 5 additional days throughout the year - 40 weeks per year

37 Hours per Week - Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm including 30 minutes lunch

Salary: Level 5

Actual Salaary £18,396.47

Greenways is a popular and successful primary school in Southend-on-Sea with an innovative curriculum, inspirational teaching and children who have positive attitudes to learning.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join our team from September 2022. We are looking for an ambitious, inspiring professional with the skills, drive and determination to help ensure that all our pupils are able to thrive.

The successful applicant will be:

  • An outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of successfully working with children of primary age
  • Passionate about supporting and advocating for children who are experiencing social, emotional or mental health needs
  • Experienced in working with families to improve outcomes for their children
  • Highly organised and able to manage their time effectively
  • Reflective practitioners who are keen to develop and progress
  • Positive, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a wider team
  • Educated to at least GCSE level with 5 passes(A*-C or Level 9 - Level 4) including English and Maths, or equivalent

Our large primary school is a happy, vibrant learning community situated in Southend-on-Sea.

The school is situated only 300m from the beach. We are blessed to have a large site with some fantastic facilities including our own swimming pool, Forest Schools area, environmental area and pond as well as two large playing fields.
