Site Manager
37 hours per week, scale 4. This position is 52 weeks a year, all annual leave will be taken during school holidays.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Site Manager who prides themself on making the premises safe and secure for pupils and staff.
This is a key position, providing vital support to the continuing success of our school. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working individual who is able to manage time efficiently to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner.

We are looking are for someone who:
· Who has experience of working in school in a Site Management / Caretaker role
· Is proactive, forward thinking and has a can-do approach
· Has a flexible approach to their work and ability to work independently
· Will ensure the site is well maintained to a high standard at all times
· Is able to manage own time effectively and demonstrate initiative including establishing priorities
· Has good record keeping skills and a good standard of English
· Has an eye for detail, to ensure the school is safe, clean and tidy to provide a high-quality learning environment for our children
· Is a role model who sets high expectations and establishes productive working relationships with pupils and staff
· Has a good working knowledge of health and safety regulations
The successful candidate will oversee the security, maintenance, cleaning and health and safety of the school and grounds, duties will include:
· Locking and unlocking of premises and key holder responsibilities
· General first line repairs and maintenance and caretaking skills, so a good range of DIY skills, for example decorating and plumbing, will be needed
· Supervision of contractors
· Taking a key role in Health and Safety checks and monitoring as required by legislation, including fire, legionella and play equipment, along with COSHH, risk assessments and asset register
· Being responsible for the regular checking and operation of systems such as heating, cooling, lighting and security systems
· Some cleaning duties, the success full candidate will be required to undertake other manual duties
