Infant Class Teacher (Early Years/Key Stage 1)
Maternity Cover - from September 2022

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School and Nursery is a friendly, caring school serving the parishes of Sacred Heart and St John Fisher in Southend-On-Sea. We are part of the Assisi Catholic Trust.

The Governors of our school are looking to appoint a positive and energetic Infant (Early Years/Key Stage 1) temporary teacher to cover a maternity leave. We are looking for a teacher with creativity and motivation, who is committed to giving children the very best at the early years of their primary school experience.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who can bring a love of learning to our school. We are seeking a professional individual who has:

An understanding of how children learn and play
High expectations of what children can achieve and how they should behave
Commitment to team work in a friendly school with a child-centred ethos
Resilience, enthusiasm, patience, flexibility and a caring manner
Excellent in the classroom, with an outstanding ability to engage and enthuse children
Ability to challenge, support and motivate all children to achieve high standards
