We are looking for a School Business Manager to join our friendly and supportive office team. The role will involve the day to day operational, financial and business management of the Academy and working with the Multi Academy Trust. Being part of a small (flat) MAT enables our SBMs to meet up regularly and network across the schools.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of running a busy finance office including control account reconciliations, producing monthly management accounts, budgeting and financial forecasting, statutory returns, HR and premises management.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
· Accountancy experience
· Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills including Excel and Word
· Experience of working in an Academy or MAT setting
· Experience of SIMs Finance or other accounting software
· Excellent organisation, interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills
· A flexible and adaptable approach to daily tasks with the ability to work well both within a team and independently
· Ability to multitask and work calmly, efficiently and accurately throughout disturbances during the day but still meeting deadlines.
This is a part time position for between 21 and 25 hours per week, term time plus 3 weeks.
