Role: Minibus Driver
Working Hours: 12 hours per week
Contract: Casual, term time only
Hourly rate: £11.19 per hour
We are looking to appoint a driver to service both the morning and afternoon home to school bus run, however we will consider applicants who wish to share this role. There may also be other driving opportunities on ad hoc basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the health, safety, comfort and welfare of pupils and staff whilst being transported in the vehicle, carrying out vehicle checks before each journey, reporting vehicle defects and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use. The candidate must hold a clean and valid driving licence which includes D1 OR PCV licence.

The Deanes is well situated in South East Essex, with good links to public transport. We are situated within ten minutes of Benfleet and Rayleigh Rail Stations, where a 45 minute train journey will take you into London. There is also ample car parking onsite.
