Roach Vale Primary School is looking for someone who loves working with children to join our lunchtime team.
The position would involve working for 1.75 hours per day (11:45 - 13:30) on a Monday to Friday - term time only.
Salary scale 2 (£9.60-9.79 per hour).
The ideal candidate would be physically fit as the role involves setting up tables and chairs in the dining hall, and putting them all away again. Being able to work efficiently and to time would be an important part of the job. Experience of being pro-active and able to organise and play games with children would be great. Additionally, the role would involve administering first aid, encouraging good dining room practices and preparing or clearing the dining area.
The role also requires you to encourage children to follow our school rules (be kind, be safe and be respectful) and to deal with poor behaviour choices, following our behaviour policy. So being consistent and able to build positive relationships with children and promote positive behaviours is essential.
You could be outside in all weathers, but you will be rewarded with big smiles and lots of laughter.
