Essex Schools' Pay Scale 3, National Pay Spine 4-5 £19,264 - £19,650 (pro rata salary would be £12,442 - £12,691)
28 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 working weeks per year, plus holiday) (negotiable)
September start. Initial one Year Fixed Term Contract.
The Cornelius Vermuyden School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated professional to work in the SEND Department. The post holder will report to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Co-ordinator. The core purpose of the post is to:
- Support students with SEND;
- Contribute to the development of the learning support department.
Specific responsibilities include:-
- Providing support for an identified student in the classroom;
- Developing an understanding of the students' needs in order to support them effectively;
- Promoting positive behaviour and relationships;
- Working in partnership with subject teachers;
- Undertaking intimate care procedures and willing to be trained in any relevant medical routines.
