Learning Support Assistant
Scale 3 Points 4- 5
£18933- £19312 pro rata
Monday to Friday (5 hours 40 minutes per day)
39 Weeks per year (term time plus 5 Inset Days)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support Faculty.
We require an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individualto support identified students with special educational needsand/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. Youwill be working with students across all three key stages andtherefore education to A Level standard is essential. Theknowledge and experience of working with young people isdesirable along with good interpersonal and listening skills.
This position would suit someone who is possibly consideringteaching as a profession and wants to gain experience anddevelop their skills within a large secondary school across arange of curriculum areas. (The previous post holders arestarting PGCE courses in September.)

Information about the School
The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. We were graded ‘Good’ in every area by OFSTED in February 2017 and are working towards our goal of becoming a truly great school.
