Fixed term contract for the support of pupil with additional needs
Scale 3 Point 4 - 5 (Fulltime equivalent salary £19831 - £20210)
27.5 hours per week - 5.5 hours daily.
Term time only
Required 4th January 2022
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable person to join our existing team of Learning Support Assistants. You will be able to work independently, use your initiative to aid learning and have high, consistent expectations of behaviour. Your literacy and numeracy skills must be of a high standard and you will be able to work in conjunction with the class teacher to support the whole class, small groups or individuals as necessary. The successful candidate will have a qualification equivalent to, or be working towards, a relevant NVQ level 2 and experience of working with children with additional needs and in particular ASD is essential. Candidates without a relevant NVQ level 2 may be considered if they have sufficient experience of working with children, GSCEs grade C or above in Maths and English and are willing to undertake a relevant qualification.
