Catering Manager

Job Description

Alresford Primary School is a friendly, village school just ouside Colchester, we have 219 children on role. We are looking for a Catering Manager to join ourwonderful, supportive team.

Salary: Scale 5 - Point 8 -11 (Depending on experience), (FTE £20,493 - £21,748), (Actual £11,499 - £12,203)

25 hours per week - 9:00am - 14.00pm Mon - Fri term time plus inset days

The successfule candidate will have:

· Experience in leading and motivating staff

· Menu planning

· Ability to prepare cook and serve for approx. up to 150 healthy school meals every day

· Understand the importance of providing healthy nourishing meals

· Complete food safety records

· Operate and control stock

· Ensure kitchen is clean, well maintained and organised at all times

· Understand budget control

· Maintain financial and admin records
