Trust Finance Manager
Scale 9:£33,808 to £37,820 Pro Rata
25 hours a week for41 weeks a year
This post will be a fixed term contract for 1 year.
(term time with the exception oftwo weeks which may be needed around Audit and other DfE submission dates, but may also be used as attendance at evening meetings)
The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust of 15 Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), Teaching School and Family and Children Supports Services, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. Formed in 2018, we are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities.
As the Trust Finance Manager for the Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, the post-holder will be an integral part of the central team assisting with the strategic leadership of the Trust and providing extensive day-to-day support to schools and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on matters relating to finance and resources.
In particular, the post-holder will:
Work with the CFO in providing high-quality strategic financial planning to ensure the EFSPT makes the greatest possible use of its resources and is able to provide the best outcome for pupils within its schools;
Work with schools providing support, advice and guidance on matters relating to finance and resources;
Work with the CFO in the design and implementation of systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all relevant legislation; and
Work with all parties in providing effective and efficient financial management.
The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly for the Trust, and across its schools, and have a proven track record in financial management.

EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years, and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities. The schools maintain their identities but work in a highly collaborative manner supported by a small but very experienced Central Team.
