After School Club Supervisor
Band: 3 point 8-16 salary £18,768 - £21,417
Actual salary: £8,717- £9,947
Hours: 20 hours per week (2-6pm daily)
Term time only 44.8 weeks per year
Abbots Hall Primary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, team player with a great sense of humour.
We are looking for someone who has:
· Been educated to at least GCSE level in English and Maths and if possible hold additional qualifications/experience with working with children
· Must have a basic understanding of Food Hygiene, or a willingness to obtain a Food Hygiene certificate
· A patient and positive attitude, along with a good sense of humour.
The successful candidate will be required to:
· Undertake the daily supervision of the After School Club, developing and maintaining high standards throughout to ensure the welfare of the children at all times
· Ensure children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development
· To ensure an efficient and professional light dinner service is provided and be responsible for the ordering of all After School Club groceries
· Maintain the After School Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene, before, during and at the end of each session, and be responsible for all Health and Safety matters in the After School Club
· Communicate effectively with parents/carers and colleagues
· To supervise the safe escorting of children to ensure their wellbeing at all times.
· Ensure all record keeping ie. Attendance records, money collection is accurate and stored safely
· Undertake training as required and develop, train and monitor the After School Club Team
· Keep up-to-date with changes in education relevant to your role
· Work in collaboration with other colleagues.
