Monday - Friday 8:30a.m - 13:30pm Fixed Term until 31st August 2022.

We are inviting applications for the post of Learning Support Assistant, to commenceJan 2022 to help our friendly teaching staff in this happy, well-resourced, expanding school, rated 'Good' in all areas (Ofsted May 2017).

In this role you would be working within a fantastic team, supporting our pupils in school. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has the following attributes:

. To provide direct support for pupils across the school with emotional and or behavioural difficulties.

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· Experience in working with a range of interventions such as Precision Teaching, Phonics groups, Maths etc, although training will be provided where necessary.

. Experience of working in a therapeutic school

· An ability to work with the teachers in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate

· Positive and calm approach to managing behaviour

· A solid understanding of safe guarding practices

. Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative

. To work with and facilitate those pupils' successful inclusion in to school life.
