Learning Support Assistant

Required January 2022

27.5 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)

Band 2, Scale point 3-5

39 Working Weeks per annum (44.3 Paid Weeks per annum)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about pupils' learning, enjoys being with children, has a positive attitude, and is able to work as part of a friendly and dedicated team.

Our pupils are looking for a warm, caring and supportive person who is able to support them in feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the School.

The post holder will work with pupils who have learning, social and physical difficulties and support them across the curriculum.

Prior experience of working with children with special educational needs is beneficial, but not essential.

Applicants should be willing to attend manual handling training and specific training to meet individual student needs, potentially including some personal care.

This role will include an element of lunchtime supervision for high needs children.
